Included data

  • International flights to capital cities in Australia having international arrival caps set by the government

Excluded data

  • Domestic flights within Australia
  • Flights from New Zealand (as Australia and New Zealand have an agreement to allow quarantine-free travel between their two countries)
  • Cargo flights (flights without any seat data or listed as under an airline’s cargo service)
  • Special flights unlikely to be under the arrival caps (e.g. flights taken by the Prime Minister)
  • One-off flights to destinations for which the government does not list as having any allowed cap e.g. Alice Springs or Christmas Island
